Find a Security Company in Oregon — Free Introductions

OREGON SECURITY GUIDE · FREE COMPANY INTRODUCTIONS

Need a security company in Oregon?

Tell us about your property, business, or event. We will review your request and look for an independent security company serving your area.

A free community service for customers and participating companies. You choose whether to contact or hire a company. Your details are shared only with your permission.

OSG helps with introductions, not security operations. Our introduction service is free; any security work you choose to arrange is contracted with and paid for directly through the independent company. We do not guarantee a company match, response, quote, availability, or start date.

Tell us what you are looking for

For adults authorized to request services for an Oregon property or event. We are starting with Portland-area introductions and will check other Oregon requests for available coverage. Phone and additional details are optional. Add a phone number when choosing a call or text.

Keep your request general. Do not include alarm codes, passwords, access credentials, medical information, sensitive incident details, or detailed security vulnerabilities. This is not an emergency or dispatch service. Call 911 for an immediate emergency.

Read our introduction privacy information and introduction terms. Looking for work? Use the Oregon security job board instead.

Your request has been received.

Oregon Security Guide will review your request and may contact you using your preferred method. Before sharing your details, we will identify one independent company and ask for your permission. This free introduction request is not a booking or a guarantee of security coverage. Call 911 for an immediate emergency.

How your introduction works

  1. We review the basics. OSG checks the Oregon location, general service request, timing, and contact information. We may contact you to clarify details.
  2. We look for a company serving your area. We consider its stated services and service area and check applicable company authorization through DPSST before an introduction.
  3. You approve the introduction. We identify one independent company and ask your permission before sharing your contact information and relevant request details. A different company requires separate permission.
  4. You decide what happens next. Discuss the assignment directly with the company. It handles its assessment, proposal, staffing, schedule, contract, and services. An introduction is not a booking.

Services you can ask about

On-site armed or unarmed security, mobile patrol and property checks, commercial or apartment-property coverage, construction-site security, and event security. Select “Other / not sure yet” when you need a company to explain its options. Availability varies, and listing a service here does not mean coverage is confirmed.

Explore our mobile patrol, construction-site security, and commercial-property security guides for questions to ask a company.

Questions before you start

Will several companies contact me?

We ask permission for one named company at a time. Your request is not distributed to an unlimited list. We ask separately before sharing with another company.

Can I choose text messages?

Yes. Select “Text message” as your preferred contact method and provide your phone number. This preference is for communication about your request, not enrollment in unrelated marketing.

Do I have to hire the company?

No. You decide whether to proceed, and you may contact companies yourself instead. OSG does not select a security plan for you, negotiate the contract, or commit you to security coverage.

What should I check before hiring?

Review the company’s current authorization through the DPSST Entity License Search. Ask about personnel credentials, insurance, the written scope, and the contract. Contact DPSST about licensing questions. OSG’s checks are not a continuing guarantee of status or performance.

Can I withdraw my request?

Yes. Email scott@oregonsecurityguide.com to withdraw, correct your information, or request deletion. We can stop future sharing but cannot undo information already disclosed with your permission. See the privacy information for retention details.

Prefer to research companies yourself?

Browse the Oregon security company directory or Portland company guide and contact a company directly. Directory inclusion is not an endorsement or guarantee.
