New to Security
Start with the 14-hour unarmed basic course. Review the unarmed certification guide before registering.
Upgrading to Armed
Choose a 24-hour armed course only after checking the eligibility and timing rules in the armed certification guide.
Already Certified
Use the renewal filters for biennial unarmed training or annual armed maintenance. Confirm your expiration date before enrolling.
Understand the total cost: Provider tuition is separate from DPSST application fees, fingerprint charges, and any range, ammunition, or equipment costs.
