How OSG Job Filters Are Organized
- Categories describe the kind of security work, such as healthcare, public safety, asset protection, event security, patrol, or campus security.
- Job Types describe the employment arrangement, such as full time, part time, contract, temporary, or flex/on-call.
- Tags describe useful job attributes such as Union, PERS, Armed, Unarmed, CCTV, Day Shift, Night Shift, Sign-On Bonus, and OSG pay bands.
About Pay-Range Alerts
WP Job Manager does not natively support salary as an alert field, so Oregon Security Guide uses standardized pay-band tags where reliable compensation data is available. Choose a pay-band tag when it appears in the alert form or job search filters.
Current OSG pay bands include: Under $20/hr, $20–24/hr, $25–29/hr, $30–34/hr, $35+/hr, Under $60K/year, $60K–79K/year, and $80K+/year.
