What You’ll Do
Protect patients, staff, visitors and property; assist with behavioral crises; and work with the care team on de-escalation and safety. The position serves adult and adolescent patients experiencing mental-health or substance-use crises.
Key Requirements
- High-school diploma or equivalent; relevant associate degree preferred.
- Two years of qualifying corrections, military, first-responder, direct mental-health-care or related security experience.
- Two years of substantial public-contact experience emphasizing customer service and de-escalation; behavioral-health/addiction assessment experience required.
- Applicable driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Temporary or current Oregon DPSST unarmed certification upon placement.
- Specified CPR/BLS certification within 14 days and employer-required safety and de-escalation training.
