Full-Time Hospital Security Position in Portland

Providence Portland Medical Center is hiring a full-time Security Officer to help protect patients, visitors, caregivers, physicians, property, and hospital facilities.
The Security Officer enforces Providence and facility security policies, investigates reports of potential criminal conduct, responds to safety and security incidents, assists with restraining patients when necessary, and provides protective services in high-risk areas.
Depending on assignment, duties may also include foot and vehicle patrols, patient transports, site surveys, threat assessments, patient standbys, alarm response, special security details, and assistance with training clinic personnel. The officer may occasionally be asked to support other Providence facilities or affiliated organizations in the Oregon Region.
