What You’ll Do
- Provide customer service while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency-response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations.
- Monitor employees, visitors, drivers, deliveries, and access points.
- Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Document patrols, incidents, and daily activity clearly and accurately.
- Help deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security concerns.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 18 years old for unarmed work.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Guard card/license preferred; licensing requirements are subject to state and local law.
- Ability to complete required background screening and any legally permitted drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license only if assigned driving duties.
