Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center seeks a Safety Security Officer II in Gresham.
Position details
- On-call; 10% differential and minimum availability requirements.
- Base pay: $24.60–$35.17/hour; non-union.
- Variable days/nights, weekends and holidays; 12-hour shifts.
- Requisition: 26-49211.
Responsibilities and qualifications
Protect patients, staff, visitors and property while providing courteous assistance.
Requires high-school completion; two years of relevant security, corrections, military, first-responder or behavioral-health/ER experience, or one year as a Legacy Associate Security Officer; and two years of public-contact/customer-service experience. A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.
AHA healthcare-provider BLS and DPSST temporary/full unarmed certification are required within 14 days. Full DPSST certification and de-escalation training are due within 120 days. Complete Legacy’s physical-control training.
Compensation
Listed differentials: evenings $2.50/hour, nights $4.30/hour and weekends $3/hour. Confirm eligibility and application.
