A division of Maps Credit Union, is hiring a full‑time Armored Service Technician to support secure transportation of currency and valuables for financial institutions. This role is based out of the Keizer branch and involves operating an armored service vehicle, managing cash logistics, and maintaining strict security standards.

This position is ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail, a safety‑first mindset, and experience in security or transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain custody and security of all cargo during transport
• Receive, verify, document, and account for cash and valuables
• Process shipments including Federal Reserve deliveries and customer accounts
• Manage money bags, receipts, route keys, and related documentation
• Maintain accurate and organized records
• Process bulk cash inventory and change orders
• Perform check‑in and check‑out procedures for daily routes
• Support vault operations including opening/closing and cash/coin handling
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and clients
• Protect sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor, all‑weather environment
• Exposure to potentially hazardous situations (e.g., robbery risk)
• Extended hours may be required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
• Frequent walking, entering/exiting buildings, and vehicle operation
• Clear vision for reading documents and using equipment
• Ability to stoop, kneel, reach, and handle materials

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 21+ years old
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass DOT physical and obtain Medical Examiner’s Certificate
• Must meet Maps Credit Union credit standards
• Ability to obtain DPSST Armed certification within 30 days (company supported)
• Minimum 2 years of security experience preferred
• Knowledge of cash handling or bank operations is a plus
• Must be bondable
• Availability Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays

Compensation:

• $27.00 – $31.24/hr, depending on experience
• Full‑time, typically 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
